You need root or custom recovery (TWRP or its modifications).
A profile with all data, including bookmarks, lies along this path:
This is a SQLite file, where you will find all your saved bookmarks.
As an alternative, you can install a third-party bookmark manager addon and synchronize or export through it.

I (would) lose all my bookmarks using my firefox account. Freshly broken/cleared bookmarks immediately clear my bookmarks on the server.
