Where exactly in MySQL in wordpress wordpress can I edit the path to media files?
in the wordpress admin panel itself, I found exactly where to edit, but I also want to figure out exactly where it can be edited in the database, and in what way. I don't have a section with file upload paths on a clean WordPress installation.
Only part of the path is stored in the database, the upload_path option (empty by default). And the full path is generated by php, the file \wp-includes\functions.php
Also, if the UPLOADS constant is set, the path will be taken from the value defined in this constant.
Here is an excerpt from the description of the wp_upload_dir() function

in this situation, if you can’t add memory, then in order to squeeze more out of iron in your place, you could do this:
1) use the Mate / Xfce shell or even better openbox (though it will be stressful for a beginner)
2) if you are not going to use sleep mode and/or a non-SSD screw, then swap is unlikely to help you when watching videos, unless of course you enjoy watching movies with freezing and jerking.
3) use zRam to compress the swap in RAM, which will increase the memory by 50 percent or more on average.

IMHO SWAP = 2x RAM if RAM < 1Gb

Actually, there isn't much difference. "Slightly" more than RAM, or much more.
The essence of having "a little more" (as well as x2, according to some) is that you can urgently send it to sleep.
And in ordinary life, you will still experience inconvenience at those moments when an application runs out of memory and because of this, a swap will be raped, no matter how much it is.
So it's best to replace the RAM :)
