Where does the error Typo: In Word 'word' come from?

I use the PyCharm editor for Python, sometimes the words in the comments are underlined with a wavy line, sometimes the same happens with the names of the functions that I set. The words are absolutely harmless and written without errors. For example, I start a comment with the word if , he immediately underlines it. Is that what he doesn't like?
I read that you can add a word to the dictionary and the error will disappear, or turn off the spell check completely, but I'm interested in the very root reason why he underlines harmless words.

It works just like in Word, regular spell check or something else, you don't have to pay so much attention to it.

For "Typo: In word..." errors for Russian words:
Via File -> Settings... -> Editor -> Natural Languages add Russian language
For "Typo: In word..." errors for English words:
Write exactly English words and use "_" as a separator.
