Where does RAM go?

The problem is this. 6GB of RAM is installed on the PC, when I go to the task manager, it is indicated that no more than 2gb is used and at the same time it is indicated that almost 80% of the total RAM has been used, BUT HOW IS IT IF 6 is installed ??

Where does RAM go?
It does not disappear anywhere, it is used by the computer.
6GB by today's standards is not enough, it will always be packed to capacity.
You have a fairly normal situation in the manager - 4.8 GB is used
Memory used by user applications 1.7 GB
Cache 1.1 GB
Memory is used -
1) by the System
2) by Application programs.
3) Caching.
See Resource Monitor for details.
Task manager - performance - open resource monitor - memory tab
