Need to customize the slider, is it made through the ad module with the banner type "Banner for Bootstrap template"? Where is it configured what it displays?

скорее всего он вызван через компонент bitrix:advertising.banner
вам надо найти шаблон компонента
тут -> /bitrix/templates/ваш шаблон/components/bitrix/bitrix:advertising.banner/
или в /local/templates/ваш шаблон/components/bitrix/bitrix:advertising.banner/
