Where do wrong links come from when migrating a site to wordpress?
The problem is the following. When transferring a site from local to hosting, links to a local site are taken from somewhere. It was site.loc - it became site.ru. When moving in the database, I changed all the links, there are no matches for site.loc. Just in case, I checked it by searching the entire site, maybe it’s left somewhere in the templates, but it’s not there either.
During the transfer, there was a problem that the WP Mega Menu plugin left links to site.loc in the menu, but I re-formed the menu, and it seems that all the links became correct. But, if you look through the screaming frog, somewhere there are these paths that lead to the local site.
I foresee that there will be comments that manually transferring the site is not Orthodox, but what can we do now, how can we kill these incorrect links in this situation?
