Where did the /var/www directory go?
Literally today I reinstalled Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and now I want to continue developing a web project. I download nginx , go to localhost and see an error. I wandered into the directory /var/
, but it simply does not contain www/
:
Where could it go and can it be restored without reinstalling the system? ( I am absolutely sure that I did not have a hand in her absence. )

Found the answer. I installed the latest version, it put nginx root in /usr/share/nginx/html :)
