Where did screen sessions go?

VPS server. I created many screen sessions (screen -S name), in each I launched a process (java -jar File.jar {and parameters} ). I come in 3-4 hours - the server is down. I look at the terminal - the screen -list command gives No Sockets found in /var/run/screen/S-root. Why and if it is known where, did the sessions disappear? OC Linux Debian

sessions floated into oblivion during the shutdown of the server, which is not working.

uptime says what?
ps if the process eats too much CPU, the hoster can chop it automatically.

Do you look at screen -list under the same user that you created? And then each user has their own screen sessions.
