Where can I link an executable .xap file?

Hello. I looked all over the Internet, but did not find a single article: "How to link a .xap file?"
I need this because summer is ending, and I'm sure I'll die of boredom. I decided to make a game so as not to hit the table, but here's the problem. So... how to make a .xap file? Most likely it is done on Visual studio (it is logical, because they are both Microsoft software), but I didn’t find it in it. Help.

Choose the project type for Windows Phone and compile. There are no problems, there are a lot of manovs on how to build an application for Windows Phone on the Microsoft website.
