Where can I get the specifications for the case of an apple device?
good morning
There is an idea to make an interesting custom case (metal bumper) for ipad mini 2 for a loved one. There is no experience in material creativity, there are a couple of familiar engineers who know how to use autocad. The action plan is something like this - make a detailed drawing and order production from a CNC office. (perhaps I will add stages such as product design, printing a prototype on a 3D printer, and after ordering a batch / kickstarter, how will it go)
Where can I get hold of the parameters of the product? Height-length-width is easy to find, technological holes can be measured, you can also find blueprints where all distances are indicated, but how to find (or measure with a tablet on hand) bends, roundings, curvature of the case in order to accurately repeat them in the product?
