Where can I get good lessons on creating a top-down shooter for android (unity)?

I am not familiar with C# at all (I know html, css, js)

All paid courses are like that, they roughly copy each other and will not give you good knowledge. Yes, you will make a game for your portfolio. My advice to you is to just take it and look on YouTube for how to make hit boxes, etc. and you are trying to make a game, it is clear that this is a long and difficult task, but then you will do it completely yourself and you will be able to figure it out. If so, ask a question here and they will gladly answer you.
