Where can I find the correspondence between the control characters and the form of their notation?

For example ^[[24~ is f12, '"\eW" is Alt-Shift-W.
Is there a dock / link where you can look at these correspondences?
Or, is there a way to identify this by typing? (when you click on the button, a literal is displayed)

The escape sequences you write about are specified in termcap or terminfo and can very easily be overridden there. There is a certain standard (man termcap, man terminfo), but, as always, no one is obliged to adhere to it.
