Where can I find smart card drivers?
Good day to all. I got a laptop with a built-in SC card reader. HP Compaq 6910P. RICOH card reader (Ricoh R/RL/5C476(II) or compatible CardBus controller) I decided to file local authorization in windows using smart cards. I installed from the HP website software for authorization by fingerprints or smart cards \ USB tokens. But when you try to install any smart card (including the card where the EDS is recorded, it asks for a driver.
The system defines the card as a Smart Card with DevID SCFILTER\CID_4b4153414b4944 Accordingly, the software from HP does not see the card and cannot read / write anything from there. This happens with all cards (for example, a bank card, or a driver's license) that I tried to put in this card reader. Google does not give sane results, where to get such drivers. And without them, no smart card operations are supported. Help with advice where to get these drivers in general? Or each card has its own driver, can there be some kind of universal driver?
