Where can I find callback for regular user messages in VK API?

For communities, a callback is available when a message arrives, so that it goes to the server. But I can't find the same, but not for communities, but for the average user. There is only a method for receiving messages, but this will have to contact the server too often, even when it is really not needed. So isn't there a method like for the community?

There is no callback API for personal pages. Read about Long Poll , this is what you need.
