Where can I find a good resource on snmp protocols?

Hello, I need to deal with the subject and, it would seem, the topic is relatively simple, but, as it turned out, it is quite difficult to find adequate instructions for absolute beginners on the topic.
In a word, if suddenly someone can tell where you can start learning how to handle SNMP - protocols, I will be very grateful.
In particular - I need to learn how to work with snmpwalk and snmpget at the moment in order to "check" the CPU load (probably that's what it's called) and the hard disk for free space...
Here's what I already found, for example
https://www.8host .com/blog/ustanovka-i-nastrojka-d...
In a word, any ideas are welcome!
Thanks a lot.
