Where can I find a designer / engineer / 3D printer programmer?
Good afternoon,
Where to look and what to do to find good specialists? People are needed in a company for the study of 3d printing technologies, mainly in the construction industry. Specialists are required to know the mechanical processes of printing devices, building custom components and/or complete printing devices. A person must know both the mechanical and software parts - writing custom software for management.
Of course, this is not all one person, this is a group, we are trying to figure out where to find them, I would like to know exactly in Russia. Go through the usual engineering specialties and filter out people from there?

and specialists are already preparing for 3D printing? here we are with a mustache. started with prusa with one extruder and got
to metals. and all because we are interested.
look for technically literate people with an interest in this area. help with education on the topic and it will not be better to find specialists because those prepared with their own hands are the best.
I doubt that a start-up company is able to pay for the work of a 3D specialist, I can’t say anything about the group.
I would understand your problem if you were looking for a specialist in a ready-made system, but from scratch it is better to take not specialists, but simply interested technically competent people. For example, I have been interested in 3D printing for several years now, I know something, but alas, this is all theory, finances, unfortunately, do not even allow me to assemble a prusa. If I was offered a job related to 3D printing, I would not refuse
3d in construction? A curious and almost uncovered topic in the Russian Federation. I doubt that you will find ready-made specialists. If I recruited such a team, then, IMHO:
1. Companion / designer with experience in an experimental workshop in a large production. SolidWorks, AutoDesk ForceEffect, etc.
2. A CNC enthusiast with an education in the field of communications / automation and at least three of his projects (he will program the controllers at the same time and knows who to order from).
3. Builder-materials scientist with work experience.
4. PGSnik-geodesist.
5. PGSnik-architect familiar with the methods of mechanization in construction.
Ideally - to have two such teams, in one of which the main thing is to make item 5, in the second - item 2. Give the same tasks, require at least 5 solutions. Where converge for both teams - to dig further.
