Where can I download the latest database of countries and cities for PostgreSQL?

On the site, you need to make a choice of a city from the directory (a la saggestr like Vkontakte). Where can I download the current database of countries and cities? The project is in PostgreSQL, but it can probably be parsed from another source (XLS, CSV...).
