Where can I change the path to the scripts that will be connected from the extension in the vendor folder?

The question is that when connecting an extension for example yii2-cart from the vendor folder, I get wrong file paths, although folders with files are generated.

How and where can I replace the /assets path with /frontend/web/assets ?
Why is it not connecting correctly, I just downloaded and connected the extension

visible in yii2-cart. Would you at least give a link to the extension to see what's there with assets.
If you have /frontend accessible from the web, you are not preparing yii correctly. And the problem is not with the extension, or not only with the extension. The root of the site must be the web folder
