For the project, you need a directory of organizations included in the heading of car maintenance - car services, car shops, car washes, tire fitting. Enough address and contact numbers.
If there is also information about the site and the category of services, then this is a big plus.
Options that have already been considered:
1. Create yourself.
Not to depend on anyone is excellent, but collecting such a database even for one city, even without taking into account the need for its constant updating, is a rather complicated and expensive task. Only in my city there are about 600 car services, and more than 1500 car dealerships. It is almost impossible to collect all this manually in a reasonable time and for reasonable money.
The gradual filling option is not suitable, because already at the start, we need to show the most complete data, otherwise the essence of the project is lost.
2. Yandex.
Does not provide an API for searching organizations.
3. 2gis.
An excellent option, it costs reasonable, but the usage agreement imposes such severe restrictions on the ability to work with data that it is almost impossible to use it with their api. Such fundamental functions as data analysis, their filtering, search and automation of work with data go beyond the scope of the agreement. In fact, 2gis allows you to create only something similar to a copy of 2gis itself, but with our design and the ability to supplement their output with our information. This is basically all that can be done while remaining within the framework of the agreement.
Are there other providers of similar data? The main thing is the most complete list of all organizations with contact details. The relevance of the data is secondary in our case.
