3) Collaboration with a designer
A counter question arises - why?
If this is a startup, then you can just honestly contact freelancers (for example, me) and agree.
Cooperation options

• payment by futures (a clear cost that will be closed when the project starts to bring money)
  
• share in the project (here the designer should not just have a logo, but take on the visual part of the project - including the design of the site, forms, advertising in social networks, presentations, etc.)
  
• barter (i.e. the designer will do the work for you, and you to him)

You can ask on reddit or other social networks. networks, there are groups where requests to make a logo for free and offers from beginners (or other designers) are collected.

Use a logo maker or buy some ready-made stock logo. You don't need a free logo.
