An HP Pavilion 15 laptop has a bad monitor setup. It's clear that the local matrix is ​​bad for color-sensitive work, but I want to save my eyes.
There is an AMD Radeon HD 8330 card, if you disable automatic brightness control in the CCC settings and power settings, you can achieve a normal display result, without brightness jumps.
But the problem is that when adjusting through color calibration or CCC gamma, brightness and other settings, the controls start blinking and reset to the previous value. The system behaves in the same way when configuring through CLTest - when you switch to a new settings tab, the previous one is reset. At the same time, the histogram in it (in CLTest) also constantly blinks and is not configured. The only place where the settings are saved is the color display setting on the built-in display in CCC (but not in the "desktop" color display setting).
Could you tell me where and how to eliminate the causes of this behavior?
