Where are IT centers located in the USA?

I am planning to move to the USA with my wife. Now there is a question about the choice of location. The most popular destination - Silicon Valley - is not suitable, since the cost of real estate is somehow inadequate, and the prospects for working for 10-20 years for the sake of the house are not very impressive.
What other IT centers are there in the USA, where there is a large enough cluster of different IT companies so that you can find a job and, if necessary, change the company without changing the location?

In any state you can find large companies. I would recommend not going to an IT center, but getting a job in a specific company, and dancing from there.
There are city-forming companies that have a large office in the suburbs, so it is generally not necessary to go to a large city or a large center.
