When is the best time to subscribe to push notifications in an iOS app?
If this is done at the start in didFinishLaunchingWithOptions: , then there is a high probability that the user will not allow him to send push notifications.
At this stage, I need a signature to send local notifications so that the user returns to the application in a few days.
Who applied what practices in their applications?

Right now there are no options for your case, because the permission of notifications now happens separately. First you register the use of notifications, with a prompt to the user, and only then you can schedule local notifications or register push. You can ask for permission whenever it suits you, I don't think it has such a fundamental effect on the number of subscribers.
