When is it useful to use Haxe?

In the process of writing a small library that can theoretically be used on any platform, since it does not require any interaction with graphics, audio, etc., and generates only data arrays based on standard input parameters. Moreover, in order not to freeze with the assembly for different platforms, you can store it in the source code. If you write in C ++, then there will be difficulty when connecting to various projects (for example, in JavaScript, or in the same Java, you will have to get confused with JNI)
I remembered such a tool as Haxe.
I looked at some statistics, somehow it turns out that the project is not new, but far from popular.
