When does Google start indexing a site?

Hi all. I completely changed the website of the company. In Google, when I type in the site address into the search, it shows me a snippet from the old site. How long does it take for Google to start indexing a site?

You can use Google Search Console .
And in the Watch as GoogleBot section , add links to the pages you want to crawl.
Old search results will still remain, it all depends on the scale of your site.

Upload a fresh sitemap to google webmaster, and it will update in a day and a half

It all depends on the frequency of updates on your site: if the content is updated frequently (once a day), then Google will update quickly (1-2 days), if the content is updated very rarely, then wait a couple of days - a week
