Friends want to try running their own course. Tell me, please, what are the pros and cons of working with ready-made engines? So far, I see only positive aspects - speed, convenience and minimal investment. But, perhaps, there are pitfalls...

Cons - if you need a functionality that is not implemented by means of the constructor - you will have to refuse this functionality, or do it through fierce crutches
