What would be the best laravel websocket solution?

There is a medium-sized web service written in laravel 5. It is necessary for it to implement notifications via web sockets.
How much I searched, I did not find any specific example or solution for php on laravel.
There is an idea to write a notification server on nodejs, in order to be more familiar with js than with php. And the solution on nodejs is the same, both on the client and on the server.
