What will happen to PHPStorm after the end of the subscription?
Less than a year ago, I purchased a personal phpstorm license. I read it beforehand and, it seems, I realized that if the subscription ends, I will have the version that was at that time, which would suit me perfectly. The editor recently added:
Your PhpStorm subscription expires on 02/29/2017. After this date you will no longer be able to use PhpStorm 2016.3.2
By purchasing an annual subscription. You immediately receive a backup perpetual license for the current version. You can continue to use this license if you decide not to renew your subscription after one year.

The program works for about a week, reminding you that it's time to renew the subscription, then it turns off.
But you can download the previous version (the one that came with the purchase of the subscription) and use it without upgrading.
It happens that there is no money on the card that is tied to the subscription at the time of debiting, in which case a letter from the JetBrains Team comes containing:
Dear Roman,
This is a friendly reminder that the next payment date for your subscription is approaching on April 01, 2017.
We hope you enjoy using JetBrains products and will consider renewing your subscription: renew online.
The subscription requiring payment include:
1 × All Products Pack
What happens if I don't renew?
Yours truly,
