What will be the attempt to hack instagram and is it possible to return the money given to scammers in telegrams?

good afternoon friends.
It turned out such an unpleasant situation, I ordered from the telegram channel "masterstvo vzloma" to hack the Instagram of one person. Not for the purpose of stealing money or information, just before that, this person harassed me, threatened and blackmailed me. Why Instagram is another story. But that's not the point, I chose not the best way of revenge. The problem is that the owners of this telegram channel turned out to be scammers. Honestly, I expected such an outcome, but still decided to take a chance. The stupidest thing is that I did not think about taking screenshots of the correspondence. And when I transferred 5,000 rubles to them (the card number and the name of the owner were preserved), they simply merged and deleted all our correspondence. So I’m thinking now, if I go to the police with the data of the card owner, I’m more likely to get nothing but a criminal? For trying to hack another person, I mean. The amount is not so terrible as to get into trouble, but I think they have already stolen enough.

hahaha. And you thought there were honest people sitting there?))
So I think now, if you contact the police with the data of the cardholder

It turns out that you yourself went to illegal actions (ordering a hack) and now you want to go to the police to file a complaint against the scammers from whom you ordered the same hack? Hmm .. interesting)
ps how are you still falling for this in 2020?)

Don't even flinch!
Forget money.
Fix new threats and then declare.

They could have immediately gone to the police because of the threats and announced the screenshots and the account on Instagram, the police themselves would have hacked it later))

Sobbing just ...
"Loch - not a mammoth, will not die out!".
I remember thimblers well. I remember the "dashing 90s" well, when there were people like this in the markets - with three plastic cups and a frozen potato :) And the cops who came up and started to beat them in the face without a market :) And still nothing helped. They spoke on TV, explained how it "works" - and did not help ... The possibility of a sudden win was too blinding ...
You were tritely divorced. Nobody even thought of breaking something - especially insta. No, I'm not saying that hacking it is impossible, but it will cost far from 5000 rubles. And not even $5000. And it will take quite a while. Is it really now, when everyone knows that there are a lot of people who want to deceive, are there still people who fall for this?
You don't have to go to the police. Most likely, nothing will happen to you - the cops will simply laugh, although there is a formally illegal act.
The money, of course, is non-refundable. Think of it as payment for a lesson on "the cure for stupidity."
