What video format to choose?

Good afternoon!
I have 5 questions:
1 question. Which video format to choose for the movie site: MP4 or FLV?
Provided that the quality is not 720, but the usual, as in cinema, and so on. FLV, in my opinion, weighs less and, accordingly, takes up less HDD and channel?
2 question. Is it possible to force HTML5 player to read FLV format?
3 question. How many times does MP4 weigh more than FLV?
4 question. I understand that with the same compression, the quality of MP4 is higher?
5 question. Which movie site format would you choose and why?
Thank you!

Video is not so clear cut. MP4 is worth choosing, because. this is the main format at the moment and, as they said, is supported by all browsers / players. But as far as quality is concerned, there are options. This is the bitrate of sound, and video, and the number of frames and codecs used for compression, in general, there are a lot of all sorts of settings that can greatly change the size of the video file. Therefore, it is worth digging in this direction, looking for a compromise.
