There is no silver bullet.
According to the description of the second paragraph, it seems that you perceive rails as some kind of WordPress or some other CMS - a ready-made interface and nice plugins.
Take the rails differently - "Here's a key for 10, here's a pile of scrap metal, assemble the car" :)
