What type of taxation to choose for LLC?
We make a startup with a partner - a mobile application for iOS. I am in Tae. Partner is in Russia. We decided at first to form an LLC in Russia with equal shares. Further, in case of success, we will move somewhere with the project. We decided to choose USN (Simplified Taxation System). How good is it for a startup? I would not want to incur any big expenses if the application does not shoot. Are there any pitfalls in the USN that can result in high costs or taxes if the application is not successful?

if you assign yourself a salary or hire people to the state, enter into agreements with others for development, then it’s better to use the simplified tax system income-expenses = 15% (this is good when you already have a flow of money).
If you only work for two people, then the simplified tax system is income, money is withdrawn as dividends.
If you trust a partner .. then he can simply make an individual entrepreneur or be self-employed, then everything will be drawn up for him.
Accounts must be submitted quarterly. Closing an LLC is more difficult than an individual entrepreneur, but everything is possible.
If there is no movement in the bank during the year and you do not submit reports during the year, then in the Russian Federation the LLC will be closed with the help of the IFTS. It is very simple to open an LLC now, when you open it, you immediately apply for the simplified tax system. I think that a year will be enough for you to understand what to do next. After all, in a year you can submit reports and pay fines (reasonable) and start from scratch.
For a startup, the best option is only an LLC. Who wants to argue - I'm ready.
