What tools to write yourself?

I want to try myself as a tools developer, do something for open-source, or just fill out a GitHub account. I write in TypeScript / JS (React). What tools, libraries can be written for a beginner in this business?

A beginner can write a couple of projects for subject areas to his taste, and then it will quickly become clear what tools he, as a developer, lacks. The most important thing is not to write libraries just for the sake of writing libraries. It is not necessary to post only what other developers need on github, you can write a complete application or service that ordinary people need.
