What to use instead of KVM-IP?
Colleagues, share a "life hack": you need a hardware KVM over IP for home use, but they are all too expensive for the task of "not getting the monitor out of the closet and see why the system does not start from the laptop via wifi."
Please advise some inexpensive device with a video input and a LAN interface, like an IP camera with an additional video input. Or, maybe someone will tell you an IP-KVM model cheaper than 5000 rubles?
I think in the direction of a TV tuner with an input, but it turns out too cumbersome.

You can build a server based on the Q67, Q77 or Q87 chipset with a vPRO-supported processor.
Then Intel AMT technology will be available, this is IP KVM built into the motherboard, there will be remote access to the BIOS, remote power management and all the delights of KVM. This will work even if the network interface is disabled on the server, since AMT has its own TCP\IP stack. This will work even if the server hangs with a blue screen :)
