What to use for Desktop UI in C#?

Please advise what to use to create the visual part of the application. The application will be with great functionality and display of external windows.
Because Winforms is an outdated technology, the choice falls on WPF, which is also not the newest and has a large number of libraries.

If you know analogues better than WPF or know a good library for UI development, share your opinion)

The choice is not too big: WinForms/WPF/Avalonia. If you want WPF, use WPF.

If you need something completely hipster, cross-platform, at the forefront of technology, then MAUI , of course.
But seriously, and you only have windows, then take WPF.

Who told you this? Forms work natively, familiar to users. They don't slow down. Do not load memory.
