What to read to quickly learn Java?
I decided to write applications for android. Because I want to use native tools, without any bicycles, I chose the Java language.
I have experience in writing programs in C # and shit code in C ++, I don’t really want to read several hundred pages about elementary things again, you need to quickly understand the differences between java and crosses and sharp.
What kind of literature can be read? The syntax is clear, just the features and differences, so as not to shoot on the heels.

Try a bunch that I picked up for myself:
An interesting programmer's page about Java www.skipy.ru/technics.html
Great reading from Sedgwick introcs.cs.princeton.edu/java/home
Java course on Hexlet.org
And also a lot of practice on programmr .com
For dessert, you can read Effective Java when you have already mastered more or less the language
Bruce Eckel - Java philosophy just right for transitioning from C++
Still, the devil is in the details, so at least you have to go over the basics. Horstman's two-volume book has footnotes for C/C++ programmers.
