What to read on technical design (computer graphics)?
Making a reading plan, I found a lot of good things about interfaces, typography, coloring, etc.
But I realized that I don’t have enough knowledge on the technical nuances of working with graphics (rasterization parameters, color modes, blending modes - and similar issues) - they are acquired spontaneously , as tasks appear. This greatly reduces the speed and quality of work.
I would like to find 1-2 fundamental books that would help to assemble a coherent system in my head. Who will advise what?

stay, listen. I gained my knowledge from experience. However, from good books on the subject, I can strongly recommend:
The book is not only about the Lab mode. Although a lot of attention is paid to him. Along the way, a lot of algorithms and principles of working with graphics are understood. In Photoshop, yes, but that won't narrow your mind either. There is in Russian, and even with tasks from the book, and even with a preface specially for the Russian edition (the author was impressed by the Russian audience at one of his seminars). What a great book to read from cover to cover.
