What to read for an introductory C# course?

Hello.
Interested in literature on C #, which will briefly introduce the matter and throw it into battle. It is necessary to write a new MES system to replace the old one, or rather its prototype.
Do not advise? I have programming experience. But the windows platform and C# is something new to me.

The ProfessorWeb site, quite briefly and meaningfully describes the basic concepts of the language and the features of working with WPF. Most of the info is taken from Troelsen.

Bible C# - Levin - IMHO the best book for learning C#, switched to C# in about a month with her help.
