What to read for a beginner frontender?

Hello! There is an idea to go chain by chain Html+Css->JS->PHP+MySQL, then different frameworks, libraries and so on. Here's the plan:

Recommend materials, mostly books rather than interactive courses like codeacademy, htmlacademy, udemy, etc.
I also wanted to clarify a couple of points:
In the coming years, will PHP still be popular or is it worth learning node.js?
If PHP is relevant, for the study of this PL will the book "PHP 7 in the original" be relevant, or is it worth starting learning PHP, for example, from the book "Learning PHP 7".
Also questions about JS:
Is the book "Expressive JavaScript" relevant and is it worth reading "JavaScript. The Complete Guide" or "Learning JavaScript".
Suggest your options
I understand that books are not the best choice. they quickly become obsolete, but for me the material is better absorbed by the book (not in electronic format). And I also understand that you need practice, practice, practice ... but I still want to read, learn, and then do. And not the campaign of practice to study the material.
Thank you in advance for the information provided.

Good idea. But why? What do you need it for?
Will PHP still be popular in the coming years or is it worth learning node.js?

It will still be popular, decide for yourself what to teach. There is no correct answer here.
If PHP is relevant, for the study of this PL will the book "PHP 7 in the original" be relevant, or is it worth starting learning PHP, for example, from the book "Learning PHP 7".

Take any, read, UNDERSTAND, repeat everything that is written there. Then the same with the other. The order is not fundamental.
Is the book "Expressive JavaScript" relevant and is it worth reading "JavaScript. The Complete Guide" or "Learning JavaScript".

Every book is relevant. Take any at random, repeat the steps from the previous paragraph, go to the next book.

For you personally, the above books (if you read them thoughtfully, applying knowledge in practice) will be enough for at least a year. Come back with the same question after reading these five books.

Read for sure. But the fact that you understand "what you need to practice", but decide to read all the same - to your health.
Next time, just ask questions like this on the book forum. There are more people in programming than in reading.

@Pipidastr

I advise IMHO THE BEST framework - "poisk", also known as "poisk v google" and "poisk on site"
Works on any platform, solves any problems
