What to read about the device of peer-to-peer networks?
Please advise books, articles, links where you can read in more detail about the construction algorithms, architectures and protocols of peer-to-peer networks. Everywhere they write that all nodes are equal, but how do these nodes find each other, how do they communicate, how is protection against node compromise implemented?.. What achievements are already in this area, what are the basic principles, what are the most common solutions / practices?... etc. I would like to find the answer for myself to these questions.

It's a peer-to-peer network. They plugged the cable "somewhere", the switches send traffic there. Communicate - as lucky (in a large network, sometimes, no way). From compromise - arp spoofing.
