What to read about scoring algorithms: credit rating, for example?

I would like something more close to IT/mathematics and it doesn't matter in any language.
I will be very grateful.

There is nothing to read on scoring. Its algorithmic essence is very simple. You have a set of scoring tables that describe some ranges of values and the scores that correspond to them. The input is the initial data, which is evaluated according to the tables. The amount of points received can be estimated according to other tables. The result comes down to simple "give", "don't give", "requires more data".
How exactly to compile scores for scoring tables depends on the credit policy of the financial institution, statistics on issuing loans, and other factors.
What parameters to take - know-how and information carefully guarded by banks. :)

There are two approaches: analytical (for example, you can read about the Duran model) and informational (KDD, Data Mining, machine learning). The difference is that the analytical approach can be used without any data, while the informational approach requires a database necessary to determine the parameters of the model.
