What to learn for a beginner Swing, JavaFX, SWT?
I'm just starting to learn java. In the answers, some say Swing is obsolete, others say no. So, what is there to learn? And please tell me the literature for learning the framework.

No need to write desktop applications in Java. And even cross-platform libraries usually shouldn't be written in Java.
They need to be written, but not in Java.
And in Java - for Android and web services for Enterprise.
As for Android, you say your PC is weak?
