What to do with 'max_user_connections' active connections error in Wordpress?

During some actions on the site (for example, adding a new product or attribute), an error 500 Internal Server Error pops up on the site, and in the WordPress logs:

Please tell me how to deal with this?

Increase this value in the MySQL server configuration. The default should be 151
