What to do with legacy code in tutorials?

I watch videos on objective and sometimes obsolete methods slip through.
How to find a replacement for them? I don’t find something in the docks, maybe I’m looking badly?

There are several options.
1. Do not watch the video because everything is slag.
2. Read the apple documentation and learn from it.
3. If you are already looking, then write it as it is. Xcode will help with depricate methods in most cases.
