Such a problem, I turned to LoadLab to create a website for a logistics company. For the third month we can not decide on the design.
The design options that they provide are not satisfactory: neither the presentation, nor the quality, nothing. Maybe this is a biased view, and the work is really worth it?

I think it is useless to analyze the design from the outside without understanding the tasks that were set for the solution. The presented options are similar to an unfinished movement in the right direction, most likely the price is quite adequate for the work done - usually in such projects the main work lies in the field of communication with the client and design.
PS.
3 months is not a period if you want to make a quality website that solves your problems.
The question is not quite correct - in your case it's not about the designer, but about the company in which the project manager and the responsible employee from your side are also involved in the project, the work of all parties greatly affects the result.

Made two options. By shade - you can draw this picture out only in this way, it is very noisy. Look at our second option, we recommend choosing it: it is easier to read information on it and small details do not interfere with the eye. A fairly popular feature now is to use an out-of-focus picture and clear text. All the same, the main goal is not to show a picture, but to make it clear to a person what the company does in a good design. If it is not convenient for the user to use the site / read the text, etc., then as a result we will get the visitor leaving the site.
