What to do/learn?

Tell me what is now more or less possible to earn a living on freelance?
Now I am engaged in parsing / filling sites, and so install this, configure that ... in general, the little things and the payment for such tasks is, of course, not high. I would like to learn something new and at the same time, what you can earn on. Recently, I have noticed more and more tasks appear - developing an application for iphone / android devices. Can you tell me which programming language is more suitable for writing such applications?

At the moment, mobile applications are developing strongly and rapidly. I am a web developer myself, but I am already slowly learning JAVA and building applets for mobile phones. The future belongs to them, so I advise you to steadily move towards mobile application developers.
