What to do if the Ubuntu graphical shell freezes?

After 3 seconds of watching the video, the screen freezes completely, while the sound continues to work.
Ubuntu 18.10
Video Card - GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Ubuntu and derivatives have a Driver Manager - try switching to another one - look at the result
