What to do if old pages got into Yandex indexing?

The site was made on CMS Joomla ptinofset.ru . When filling the site, the "Aliases in Unicode" parameter was enabled, respectively, the sections were in Cyrillic. Subsequently, they changed to the Latin alphabet (the parameter was disabled). But Yandex stole all the sections in Cyrillic and stubbornly does not want to see other pages that were created after this "jamb".
Tell me what needs to be done (or how to influence the issue, is it possible?) to remove all pages that are indexed in Cyrillic?
Now all pages give out 404. I thought to make a redirect from each page to its child, which now exists on the site. Or do we need to take drastic measures? And what are they?
Thanks in advance for the replies.

Everything is already done!
Your task. Make sure the 404 pages accurately return the 404 server response code and not just display a visual error.
Make sure that new pages are available for indexing and submit them for crawling in the webmaster's panel, indexing section.
Wait! It remains only to wait. Redirects can be done if the "404" pages do not fly out of the index.
Like if it helped!
