What to do an auction (exchange) for educational purposes: meteor.js (node.js) or symfony2?

Highlights:
- profiles of contractors and customers with contact details, location on the map, statistics of work performed / responses / tasks and ratings of both
- description, price, location on the map, photo and video of the object of auction
- support for three languages
- conditional or real real-time processing of applications / responses (here a point in favor of meteor'a), this is not a critical feature, it may or may not be
. The main goal is educational. If everything works out, startup and production are possible.
Question: what is more pleasant to develop on and is meteor v 1.2.1 ready for production?
Thanks in advance for the answers of those who are in the subject!

On what is more relevant, better suited to the task and more useful in the future.
With the exception of the actual rates list module: for it, node.js is still preferable to PHP.
