What to create an application for Android, for practice?

Hello, could you suggest an idea for implementing an android application for the purpose of learning. I am an experienced developer, however, I have never worked with android.
I would like the application to include work with services, http requests, pictures and all other important aspects of developing client applications.
A hint of an idea will help me a lot, I must admit, I'm not very good at this, a lot of things depend on an interesting idea. Please, help.
